Grace Life International School was founded by Rev. and Mrs Annan in collaboration with Randi Buerlein and Professor Bob Pey all retired Professor`s of Virginia Common Wealth University. Rev Eric Annan visited the Danfa-Adoteiman community in 1999 and felt the need to begin a reading club for the children in his new building. He and his wife met with sixty children every Saturday to help them with reading lessons, phonic and word pronunciations. In the year 2002,Randi and Bob visited Ghana and encouraged us to build a school for the children. The Annan`s began the school building project in 2003.Randi ,Bob and volunteers from VCU (Virginia Common Wealth University) were very instrumental in  the construction process. The school was opened to the public in the year 2009 beginning with 5 children and as at 2019, has an enrollment 360 and still counting on.
